Who We Are
We are dedicated Investment T.O.U.C.H. professionals committed to delivering safe, hopeful, and true whole beauty to build, uplift, and empower each person we serve.
In the middle ages, barbers were also surgeons and dentists, known as “barber-surgeons”. After procedures, the bloodstained bandages were hung outside to dry, and the wind would cause them to twist into a spiral pattern. That’s where we get the barber pole. The blue was later added in some countries to represent the veins cut during surgery. As medical knowledge advanced, the profession gradually separated into two different professions, as we see today.
Doctors and Surgeons are known as “Catastrophe Touch” professionals. This means that when catastrophe happens, they are who you go to. Their touch, along with other tools, medications, and technology, helps you to heal.
Barbers, Cosmetologists, Nail Technicians, Estheticians, and Massage Therapists are what we call Investment T.O.U.C.H. Professionals. Our clients come to us to invest in themselves, their well being, their mental health, and to help them look and feel more beautiful and confident.
We aren’t “just” Barbers, Cosmetologists, Nail Technicians, Estheticians, or Massage Therapists. We are Investment T.O.U.C.H. Professionals who make a difference in the lives of each of our clients on a daily basis, through our touch. None of us can do any of our services without (safely and appropriately) touching our clients. We have clients who come to us, and we’re the only ones in their lives that give them safe and appropriate touch. We are the ones they trust with their lives, to celebrate with, to mourn with, to laugh with, to cry with, and even to be there as a silent supporter. We are more than what society has labeled us in the past. We are important to our clients, and we make a difference in each of their lives.
More Than "Just" Anything
There have been numerous studies done where a person will go to a therapy session and talk to their therapist, and the therapist will give them advice or recommendations on how to cope with what they are going through. That same person will then go to their Investment T.O.U.C.H. Professional, tell them the same thing, and the Investment T.O.U.C.H. Professional will give them advice or recommendations on how to cope with what they are going through as well. Guess who the client will listen to most of the time? Their Investment T.O.U.C.H. Professional. This is how our sister company, the inUpowers was born. Their purpose was originally to help T.O.U.C.H Professionals regulate and understand their emotions, and the emotions they were seeing from their clients, and it has grown from there.
