HAIR TYPE
Your Hair Type
Ah, hair. For those of us that have it, let's celebrate it. For those of us that don't, celebrate that, too! What other features can you celebrate about your hair? Is it straight? Shiny? Wavy or curly? In an awkward growing out phase after a bad haircut or your cancer battle? Go U!
If you have hair, you likely accumulate many hours trying to create the 'perfect' volume, style, and shine with many different products and haven't quite found what you're looking for. Now you have a cabinet full of useless product. Agh!
Good news! You're not alone. Most people choose their hair products based on sight, smell, and recognition (from the Internet, TV, social media, etc.). And many people choose their hairstyle based on someone else's look and try to replicate it. But there's a better way!
Apply balance and symmetry to your hair's natural law (combined with your face shape and body form) to find the most flattering look for U!
Thin
A person with a thin hair type has hair that breaks easily, they can easily see their scalp, and they are prone to static fly-aways. If they also have medium to long hair, the diameter of their ponytail is about the size of a U.S. dime.
Medium
A person with a medium hair type has hair that is less prone to breakage and covers their scalp well. If they also have medium to long hair, the diameter of their ponytail is about the size of a U.S. nickel. This is the most common hair type.
Thick
A person with a thick hair type has strong and unbreakable hair, they cannot see their scalp, and their hair tends to be difficult to manage. If they also have medium to long hair, the diameter of their ponytail is about the size of a U.S. quarter.
